This part of my research would be focused on develop novel energy storage/conversion materials that have both high performance and low price. Bin’s research interests will be focused on developing computational tools to understand the local structructure “finger print” for good performance and utilizing high throughput computational, data mining and machine learning to identify promising new materials candidates.

A design map that combines Li percolation with phase stability for Li-Mn-Nb-O-F disordered rocksalt cathode materials. (Link to the paper)
